Working In Confined Spaces (Emergency Rescue) - CABWI

The aim of this unit is to assess learners against the national standard carrying out emergency rescue and recovery of casualties from a realistic high risk confined space environment. The learner will show that they can prepare to work safely under emergency conditions and enter and exit confined spaces safely. The candidate will also prepare and use appropriate respiratory protective equipment (RPE) and use rescue equipment safely The candidate must follow procedures in order to deal with emergencies in practice.
